Rochdale Tennis Club organises social tennis throughout the week. These are sessions which all members, of all abilities, can participate in and have a hit with other members. Members just need to turn up and play - it's a great way to meet other members of the tennis club! Social tennis sessions usually run throughout the year on the following days;
Tuesday afternoons from 2pm
Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm
Saturday afternoon from 12.30pm
Sunday afternoons from 2pm
Rochdale Tennis Club offers its members the opportunity to play league tennis. We enter two Mens and a Ladies team in the Manchester league and two mixed teams in the Oldham league.
For this season the teams will need Courts 1-3 available for home games from May to July. Courts 1-2 are required for home games in August and September.
Home matches for the team are:-
Mondays: Oldham A and B Teams
Wednesdays: Mens B Team
Thursdays: Mens A and Ladies Teams
Team practice/social sessions are held on Saturdays from 12:30 pm, all-year-round. Any member interested in playing for the teams is very welcome to attend.
During the year we hold a number of club competitions which are open to all members, details will be posted on the website and notice board and will also be sent via email to members supplying an address.
Details of winter tournaments will be shown here when available. We play in almost any weather!!
We try to run Rochdale Tennis Club on a friendly and informal basis: however, some basic rules need to be applied to ensure the club runs smoothly. Please click here to download information on the Code of Conduct.
