Coaching

Muhammed Shafiq provides coaching sessions for junior and senior club members. If you have not played before, or are very rusty, then our coach would be pleased to arrange lessons for you. Junior Tennis

Our tennis coach, Muhammed Shafiq, can offers junior coaching throughout the year for mini-red (age 5-8), mini-orange (age 8-9), mini-green (age 10) and junior levels. Please contact our coach for the latest details on coaching sessions. Further information about mini-tennis can be found on the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) website.


Social Tennis

Rochdale Tennis Club organises social tennis throughout the week. These are sessions which all members, of all abilities, can participate in and have a hit with other members. Members just need to turn up and play - it's a great way to meet other members of the tennis club! Social tennis sessions usually run throughout the year on the following days;

Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm
Sunday afternoons from 2pm


Team Tennis

Rochdale Tennis Club offers its members the opportunity to play league tennis. We enter a Mens and a Ladies team in the Manchester league and two mixed teams in the Oldham league.

For this season the teams will need Courts 1-3 available from 21st April to 2nd August on:-

Mondays (alternate weeks): Oldham A team
Tuesdays (alternate weeks): Oldham B team
Thursdays: Mens and Ladies Teams
Team practice sessions are held on Saturdays from 1pm, all-year-round. Any member interested in playing for the teams is very welcome to attend.


American Tournaments

During the year we hold a number of club competitions which are open to all members, details will be posted on the website and notice board and will also be sent via email to members supplying an address.

Winter Tournaments

Details of winter tournaments will be shown here when available. We play in almost any weather!!
